Role Summary:
This role owns the operational discipline behind creative output — not the vision itself, which stays with the GM for now, but the execution, standards, and team leadership that turns that vision into real, on-time, on-brand work. You’ll review and approve everything before it ships and manage an existing content and production team day to day — briefs, deadlines, quality control, and genuine mentorship. It’s a hands-on execution and team-leadership role: production discipline and coaching ability matter more here than originating big creative ideas. Longer term, as the business launches new brands under a shared umbrella, this person may help shape how brand identity scales across that portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take the GM’s creative direction and brand vision and turn it into shipped, on-standard output across all channels
- Review and approve all creative output before it goes live — the final quality gate
- Manage, mentor, and develop 5 direct reports across content, design, and production — set clear expectations and give real, constructive feedback
- Own the production calendar and workflow — briefs in, deadlines tracked, assets QA’d before anything ships
- Run quality control on outgoing assets — brand compliance, accuracy, consistency
- Translate strategic briefs from the Head of Marketing into clear creative direction the team can execute against
- Coordinate with the Analytics & Promotions Manager so creative is informed by data on what’s working
- Manage external vendors or freelancers as needed
What We Are Looking For:
- 5+ years in a creative production or creative leadership role with genuine, demonstrated people-management experience — not just individual creative output
- Real coaching ability, not just management experience — a track record of closing genuine skill gaps with less-experienced team members, patiently and without shortcuts. This matters as much as anything else on this list.
- Strong process and organizational discipline alongside solid creative judgment — this is an execution-and-standards role, not a pure creative-visionary profile
- A portfolio or track record showing reliable, high-quality production output, not just concepting
- Comfortable executing someone else’s creative vision faithfully, while still catching and fixing quality issues
- Able to think beyond a single brand — curious about how identity systems scale across a portfolio, even without direct experience doing it yet
Nice To Have:
- Experience in an agency or in-house environment managing both creative and production/traffic functions
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or delivery/consumer apps
- Experience building or maturing a brand system from scratch
What We Offer
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience
- Hands-on mentorship from internationally experienced chefs
- Real growth potential as the operation scales — strong performers move up
- A genuinely unique opportunity to be part of building something new in Fiji
