Job Summary:
SuperEats is Superstore’s in-house food production kitchen — making ready-to-eat products for delivery and retail. We’re building a team from the ground up and looking for Kitchen Hands who are reliable, fast, and take pride in their work.
This is a hands-on production role. You’ll work alongside experienced chefs and be part of a growing food operation with real opportunities to develop your skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Prep ingredients to the required spec — chopping, portioning, weighing, marinating
- Assist chefs during production across all kitchen stations
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace at all times
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards without exception
- Wash, sanitise, and store equipment correctly after each use
- Receive deliveries and rotate stock (FIFO)
- Complete daily cleaning checklists
- Support packaging and labelling of finished products
- Communicate clearly with the team when you’re ahead, behind, or need help
What We Are Looking For:
- Reliable — shows up on time, every shift, ready to work
- Physical stamina — this is a standing, fast-paced role
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and consistently
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
- Team player — works well under pressure alongside others
Nice To Have:
- Prior kitchen or food production experience
- Food handler’s certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Experience in a commercial kitchen environment
Working Hours
Shifts will be rostered across a 7-day operation. Flexibility across morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts is required. Exact roster to be confirmed on hire.
